The 12-million-selling singer, songwriter, and composer has announced her new studio album In Times of Dragons, due spring 2026 on Universal’s relaunched Fontana label, with her largest European tour in ten years. For fans of Amos’s musical theatre chapter, especially her daring, dreamlike score for The Light Princess, this new project feels like a continuation of that same storytelling spirit. She has always been a dramatist as much as a songwriter, weaving allegory, politics, and emotion into a vivid musical tapestry. Amos describes In Times of Dragons as “a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny,” referring to “Dictator-believing Lizard Demons” who are “burning down democracy in real time.” It is classic Tori: bold, mystical, and unafraid to mix the cosmic with the current. The album, her eighteenth, promises a journey through resilience, awakening, and the pursuit of freedom.
